Since I have updated Skydemon, I have lost audio alerts via the 3.5mm jack socket on the ipad :-((

I have tested the jack plug and the rest of the aeroplanes audio by substituting my laptop and I can play tunes etc through the aircrafts intercom to my headset, but plugging in to the Ipad and using the test warning option I hear no "Karen", if I unplug and play through Ipad internal speaker she is there !

I have switched ipad off and on, also rebooted, but to no avail. I have checked audio settings, I dont think there is a seperate setting for audio out via jack socket.

This has only happened since the V4 update to SD ?

Just to close off this fault in-case anyone else gets the same issue.

After trying most settings in ipad and SD to make "Karen's" dulcit tone warning me not to carry scissors, the solution was to swipe from top right corner of ipad screen and open a pane that displayed a small music player with a selection of where I wanted the audio to come from. Although the box was ticked for headphones (i.e the 3.5mm jack) I toggled it off then on again and then I was able to hear SD again. I suppose the confusion was the fact that I could hear ring tones and warnings from the ipad via the headphone jack, but not App audio, it seems to be treated by the iPad diffently than warning tones. So it looks like an ipad glitch rather than SD.

Hope that helps someone else in future.
